Vivisector Preview

15
We managed to get our hands on a test version of the upcoming Action Forms first person shooter Vivisector: Creatures of Dr. Moreau. It features Serious Sam style gameplay though similarities between this game and Croteam's game end there. I've written a preview which tells you a bit more about the game, and what you get in the demo. Plenty of new screenshots are included as well.

After the brief action in the level Storm, you end up on Noble Island. Following a green beam in the sky, you see a Electrenna munching on a body. As you approach this ModBeast creature, it runs away which is a good thing as you're unarmed. However you hook up with the equipment of the dead person, which provides you with a HUD including a map of the island. You also find yourself equipped with a knife and a gun. You continue your walk and get to the waypoint. These waypoints serve as save points and also provide you with much needed health and ammo ...

Is it really a good idea to name your game after a pracitice that isn't looked upon favorably by many?

      its vivisector, not vivisection.

      vivisection from the dictionary:
[Latin vivus, alive; see vivify + (dis)section.]

so this game would be a sector (area) of living creatures.

plus wtf, do you think people like DOOM? do you think people like earthQUAKEs? dont be so fucking politically correct.
