"Power Your Dreams" is an excellent slogan for the Xbox Series X--newly released as of the first publication of this work--but substandard for a writer who, alas, must reconcile the fact that each day gives a mere 24 hours for writing.

I envisioned Bet on Black as a massive feature spanning Microsoft's history in games from its early days in PC gaming through the launch of Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Series X. Then reality caught up with me.

Bet on Black: How Microsoft and Xbox Changed Pop Culture - Part 2 will pick up where Part 1 left off. There are many more stories to tell and games to explore. Look for it in the summer or fall of 2021.
