The Iron Banner is in full swing, meaning there's a good chance Destiny 2 has more players this week than it has the last few. Players will want to take this opportunity to visit Xur and complete their exotic collections. Find out where Xur is located and what he's selling.
Where is Xur?
Xur is on Nessus, hanging out in his tree in the Watcher's Grave area. There is a nearby spawn point you can use to get close, setting a waypoint on your map for Xur's location. Man, Bungie really sucked the fun out of finding Xur each week, huh?
What is Xur Selling?
In addition to his exotic goodies, Xur carries two items each week that don't rotate. One is the Three of Coins, but Shacknews policy is that you don't waste your Legendary Shards on that nonsense. The other, the Fated Engram, is a perfect way to complete your exotic collection if Xur isn't selling the specific item that you need this week.
- Coldheart Exotic Trace Rifle - 29 Legendary Shards
- The Dragon's Shadow Exotic Hunter Chest Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
- Hallowfire Heart Exotic Titan Chest Armor - 23 Legendary Shards
- Nezarec's Sin Exotic Warlock Helmet - 23 Legendary Shards
- Three of Coins - 31 Legendary Shards (Do Not Buy)
- Fated Engram - 97 Legendary Shards
What Should You Buy?
Always buy what you don't already own. It's important to complete your exotic collection of weapons and armor. Destiny 2 is likely to be a game that players spend time with for the better part of three years, and the game will see many balance tweaks that could turn what is considered a junk exotic today into a fine killing machine tomorrow. Start with the armor that you're missing for your main class, then the weapon, and then buy whatever else you don't own last.
Xur will be here until the weekly reset on Tuesday, so you have plenty of time to get the Legendary Shards he seeks as currency. Be sure to visit the Shacknews Destiny 2 complete strategy guide if you are looking for help with any other part of the game, Guardian.
