This is how we sign our own PSP applications to run on official homebrew. Connect the PSP to the computer via USB. Drop our unsigned application on storage and run a program that was created by the community to encrypt and sign our app via the hardware Kirk. Something like that anyway. The only thing the PSP tools allow you to sign is homebrew. You can't resign commerical games with it and it can only sign files 4MB or smaller and no kernel mode apps only usermode.
This is what Sony needs to be supporting. It's the kernel mode stuff that allows people to do the piracy. So they should just open up usermode because it supports pretty much anything people want to do like emulation and personal apps.
