So, how yer SC2? Post your current Win/Loss count, race of choice, and current league!
52 wins / 64 losses. Protoss. Bronze division, rank 53. But flucuates quite a bit... between 50-80.
Other thoughts: I've definately seen improvement in my playing. I know what to look for in an opponent's build order to a certain degree, what match ups and what maps I need to build a wall off early. What maps are more likely for a proxy pylon cheese build. What basic units counter other basic units.
My real weakness is using all my resources. I often am sitting on like 700 minerals and gas during fights, when I need to be macroing up too. Also... recon. Oh my god, recon is like the most important thing in this game. If you don't know what your opponent has, or where their army is, or what tech they have... you are so screwed.

Copper is pretty messed up though.
If a match hits "mid game" in copper, it usually stalls straight to late-game because of shiny tier3 units that nobody can resist making. In my case, this is generally when I realize I'm behind on macro, and I let it slide to late-game because I fool myself into thinking I can catch up somehow while they mass Carriers and whatnot. (Resulting in a stupid 30+ minute loss, despite having a 95% loss chance back at the ~15 minute mark.)
I'm definitely glad for both of your posts though. Probably 75% of my copper games end AFTER I've mined out my main, (and only have 2 bases) and that is definitely due to a weak early/mid game performance on my part, not because of skilled play on both our parts.
Focusing on improving early/mid is more critical than realizing when I should have a 3rd base, but its good to know anyway as it puts the overall timeline into more perspective for me, which is part of what I am grappling with--just understanding when major events should be panning out.
