So, how yer SC2? Post your current Win/Loss count, race of choice, and current league!
52 wins / 64 losses. Protoss. Bronze division, rank 53. But flucuates quite a bit... between 50-80.
Other thoughts: I've definately seen improvement in my playing. I know what to look for in an opponent's build order to a certain degree, what match ups and what maps I need to build a wall off early. What maps are more likely for a proxy pylon cheese build. What basic units counter other basic units.
My real weakness is using all my resources. I often am sitting on like 700 minerals and gas during fights, when I need to be macroing up too. Also... recon. Oh my god, recon is like the most important thing in this game. If you don't know what your opponent has, or where their army is, or what tech they have... you are so screwed.

You gotta see the warning signs, and see into what your opponent may be doing. IE:
Terran
- Both gas being fully mined probably means tech-up to Banshees or Goliaths. (Get observers + Sentries + Immortals maybe)
- 3+ Barracks probably means an M/M/M rush... and soon. (Get Collossi or Immortals or Templars)
Zerg
- Zerg TENDS to be a bit easier to read. You need to have your build order solid and your ramp blocking even more solid.
- Two Hatcherys means a possible massive zergling rush.
- Two gas usually means standard tech from Zerglings->Roaches->Mutas/Hydras
- Look for their first expansion, thats when you want to counter push.
Protoss
- If you scout their base, and they have only 0-1 pylons... get ready for a proxy gateway rush and soon. Hold on to your panties, shit is gonna hit the fan.
- Double gas usually means standard teching to Collosi or Immortals
- Hard wall-in (IE, no way to actually enter the base w/o destroying a building) usually means a Void Ray rush. Also, a normal wall-in with Cannons means the same thing. And so, by extending that logic, if you see a Forge come up before a Cybernetics Core or a second Gateway... expect a rush to tech. Counter with early rush of Sentries/Lots/Immortals.
That's only early game recon... mid and late game recon is also super important. Know where their army is, know its composition, know their expansions, etc.
