That being said, the new ads are bullshit. Moreover, nuking threads about the ads is even worse. geedeck asked me to direct my questions to staff instead of "randomly" posting about it here. When did discussing Shack policy become random, let alone nukable? The whole point of my question earlier was to see if anyone else here felt the same way. I don't want some mod's response repeating what GameFly's offical line. I want to see what posters think. Maybe I'm overreacting but I was one of the people that scoffed at the notion that Steve's sale of the Shack would change anything here. Maybe I was wrong.

As for porn, we don't just nuke every copyrighted thing. You realize the literalness you're citing would mean we'd nuke links to images, just any image, sound, anything, unless it was Creative Commons licensed. There's music that's allowed, there are games that are allowed, there's porn that's allowed. There's music that's not allowed, there are games that are not allowed, there's porn that's not allowed.
You're cherry picking examples to see flaws in moderation, when you're looking as tiny things on a much bigger canvas. It's like you're talking about a game of football, and saying that the team sucks because so and so player failed to catch a pass in the second quarter, just so you understand what you're saying to me. I specifically have given clearer explanation why ad-blockers are disallowed. If you don't think the explanation is up to your standard, well that's a different problem but I've done a lot of effort to explain our points.
