Watch the first 18 minutes of Bloodborne

Since Bloodborne won't be making its original February 6 release date, here's an 18-minute clip of the game's opening minutes.

Bloodborne was originally slated to arrive tomorrow before SCE Japan popped everyone's collective balloon by issuing a delay that would stretch all the way to March 24. Of course, Bloodborne enthusiasts will still need to get some sort of fix to sate their hunger for the next couple of weeks. Perhaps a long gameplay clip will suffice.

A new 18-minute gameplay clip for the From Software adventure has surfaced, courtesy of IGN (curiously posted on Playstation.Blog and not on IGN). The clip covers the game's opening minutes, which includes the opening cutscenes and tutorial tips that will be covered as the game begins.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
