Wtf are "flash sales" if the site goes down and I can't checkout?

LOL. I like how it says FRANCHISE sale for Heroes VI (as if one game is the franchise), and then the only new content is not on sale. Way to go Steam, way to go.

Valve / Steam doesn't decide what gets discounted for the sales, the publishers and game studios do.

Well, thanks for clearing the second point up. However, I will still stick by my first point, you can't call one game in a six game series a "franchise sale".

        That's not Valve's doing.

If I get Terraria, will I ever play it? I know it's only $2.50 but...it looks meh.

Yeah, you'll play the hell out of it.

It's a slow build (literally), but it does get really fun and mildly addicting. I wasn't a huge fan initially of the building and crafting, but eventually I took a fair amount of pride in my creations, and I had a really good time with the combat. I think I paid five bucks for it and Steam says I have 30 hours played at this point.

I'm not going to say "you can't go wrong!" because that's obviously up to you but imo it's worth the money. But I would be wary of it if you don't like games that require you to spend time researching and looking up wiki stuff, because there's a fair amount of that.

I was hoping for the Batman DLC to go on sale. I couldn't give a crap about Saints Row. I would have taken Witcher 2 or Batman over Saints Row.

However, I will support THQ by buying Darksiders 2.

No, if you buy the season pass you get those 3 expansion DLCs for "free".

          July 12, 2012 8:42 PM

I believe the three main DLCs are included with the franchise pack which includes all of the DLC for the game, and the franchise pack is cheaper than the base game plus the season pass since the DLC is not individually discounted at 75% off.
