Judging from the demo I played and the shit reviews this game is already getting I would have to agree with you, this game will be hitting the 5 dollar bargain bin sales in no time.

I've only found PC gamer that gave it anything remotely high, everything else I have seen has been negetive. Unless you are a fanboy with blinders on...are you a DNF fanboy be honest?

You're seriously going to trot out the No True Scotsman fallacy on game reviews?

No I'll judge it for myself and after the demo I played (while not horrible) it still has a lot of things going against it. Don't get me wrong I want this to be a good game but I don't think its going to be anything remotely memorable like DN3D aside from the atrocious development time.

Yeah I'm going all out for this game, but this may be the last time. I want the special edition with all the toys but this may be the last time I can justify spending that much when it can be found so much cheaper through DD like this.

Let me know how it is when you get it, I'm holding out for a while before I get it. Never thought I would say that after waiting for so long and DN3D being such a pivotal game in my early PC years.

I misread your response. I took it to mean:

                    "All game reviewers hate DNF"
"Actually PC Gamer gave it a good review"
"Well, all true reviewers hate DNF"

When I click up there and use say mlb2k I get a page with top results

However why are you searching up there? Click your name in a post then type what you want then hit search.

Those reviews are all from European sources. A character like Duke is completely wasted on them.

I had to go for the Ball of Steel edition. I think I want the collectibles just as much as I want the game. If there was ever a game for a special edition... this is the one. I came out of special edition retirement just to buy the Ball of Steel edition of Duke (on PC of course). This game.. much like Too Human... is one of the times where I just say "FUCK the world and what anybody says.. I want this game, I've waited for this game... I going to play it and I'm [most likely] going to enjoy the hell out of this game".

Same here. I mean, if there's one special edition to have this is the one. It's probably also the last one I'll buy.

I'm also going to pick up the hardcover strategy guide and the action figure.

I went to go and pick my BOS edition yesterday.. It was the most disappointing thing ever, the model bust that it comes with is fucking tiny. Needless to say, I saved £35 and bought the standard

I think most people will be pleasantly surprised with this game, and though it pains them to say it, they will like it.

The bandwagon hate is just that.

meh, I always thought it was silly that it's launching at $50. This seems a lot more reasonable. And it's safe to say I should be able to max this with ease.

Was feeling a bit down that my rig could only get Witcher 2 around 40fps at high.
