Payday: The Heist 'Wolfpack' DLC out next week

No committed criminal wants to run out of crimes to commit, so Overkill Software is bringing a new set of daring misdeeds to Payday: The Heist in a $10 DLC pack named 'Wolfpack.' It'll add another two naughty escapades, along with an extra character, more weapons, and other odds and ends.

Payday: No Mercy explains 'how the Left 4 Dead series began'

Update: Valve comments on the DLC.

Overkill Software promised it was working on a Left 4 Dead thing. Well, here it is.

The developer has released a new video, showcasing Payday: The Heist - No Mercy. There's no word on what it is exactly, but it appears to be a DLC expansion of SOE's online shooter.

Payday dev collaborating with Valve on Left 4 Dead-y thing

It's all go at Payday: The Heist developer Overkill Software these days. As well as working on a sequel and DLC for its coop crime caper FPS, and being acquired by Starbreeze Studios, the Swedes have revealed they're working with Valve on something Left 4 Dead-y.

Payday: The Heist sequel and three new Starbreeze titles in the works

Developer Starbreeze Studios is now working on three different games internally, but none of those projects are the sequel to its most recent offering, Syndicate. On top of those three titles, Overkill Software--which will be acquired by Starbreeze--is continuing to work on improvements to Payday: The Heist, in addition to developing a sequel to the robbery-based multiplayer.

Syndicate and Chronicles of Riddick developer Starbreeze is picking up fellow Swedish studio Overkill Software, maker of recent co-op crime FPS Payday: The Heist. Gosh, imagine the co-op larks that could be had if they put their game-brains together.

Payday, Rochard, and Sideway dated, priced

Sony Online Entertainment announced a hefty helping of release dates and prices for some of its anticipated upcoming downloadable titles today. Rochard, Payday: The Heist, and Sideway: New York will all drop in late September and early October, making for a nicely packed fall schedule.
