Pay Day 2 Reveals Reservoir Dogs DLC, Recreates Iconic Scene

All right ramblers, let's get ramblin. The PayDay crew heads to California for some new heist scenery and welcome some gear inspired by the iconic Quinten Tarantino film.

Overkill has consistently stuffed their heist first-person shooter with original content and material inspired by pop culture. Now, PayDay 2 is getting DLC inspired by a cult classic heist film from director Quentin Tarantino: Reservoir Dogs. In celebration of this new development, Overkill has released a trailer that recreates an iconic scene from the film.

It's somewhat disappointing that the team couldn't get the original music used in the Reservoir Dogs scene remade in this trailer, but this is a pretty solid substitute. Better yet, one of the new pieces of gear includes the Alabama Razor blade so you can issue that really close shave. The Union 5.56 assault rifle is also being added to your heist arsenal along with a few pairs of shades for some cosmetic improvements.

The new DLC switches up the scenery a bit by taking the big job to California. The new DLC is available right now and PayDay 2 is available on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One. It will also be available on Nintendo Switch in the near future.
