We pretty much know what Duke is, what it should be, and what it will most likely be when we play it.
When we fucking play it.
12 months ago - I'd have laughed in your face and told your mother to shake it baby if you'd tried to tell me we'd be actually playing duke this year.
The reviews can go fuck themselves.
I'm almost certain I'm going to have a tonne of fun playing duke. And I'm pretty sure most duke fans on the shack will too. Reviews don't really matter. It's duke :(

all It was, was a refresh of FPS during a time when everything was Doom Hexan, Doom 2, demons, doom mods and shit. everyone was copying doom. you used go to a computer show and there would be people selling Doom mod CDs, all kinds of level packs and mods. there was the gem that was Dark Forces, FPS star wars, but other then that it was all the same blow up demons shit. Duke came along and injected some humor into that classic age of FPS gaming (even thou ROTT was pretty hilarious too). It was really the end of that era of the evolution of FPS when he came because we had Quake come out shortly after (what 6 months?) which started the whole push to more games going the "3d graphics" way
