Each team had a base with a jail in it. When you killed a member of the opposing team, they died and respawned in your jail. In each base there was also a button that if pushed, would cut the forcefield keeping the prisoners in. The neat thing about being in jail, was that once you had 3 people in jail you could try a jailbreak by jumping on each other, and working your way out through a vent that usually dropped you close to the jailbreak button so you could then release all of your jailed teammates. Teams would have to balance between offense and defense to keep the jailed people from escaping, and to kill the remaining opponents to put them in jail.
I completely forgot how you win, but i'm guessing that your team got a point if you had all of the other team in your jail at once, and then the first team to a certain amount of points won. I even remember coming home everyday after high school and hopping onto SweatGland's Jailbreak server and playing for hours.
