I don't get it. This thing is retarded expensive for a cell phone. I hated paying $200 for mine. Now if I actually needed all the PDA stuff I'd go for one of those blackberry-type things, but seriously. wtf? Is it because it's Apple and it's hip to like Apple stuff? How does all that warrant two-and-a-half-times the cost of a normal, fully functional cell phone?
Most importantly how is the voice quality? All services seem to use as low quality as possible, I can barely understand people on the phone unless they enunciate perfectly. Is this a service bottleneck, or is it restricted by the phone?

2: Again, most smartphones, pda's etc run at $400+, even some Treos and Blackberrys I've seen run at $500-$600. 3: The iPhone is a smartphone essentially, with an additional 8gigs of flash memory for music and video, any other smartphone that was in the $300-$400 range, if they had 8gigs of memory, would cost about $500-$600.
