Dishonored 2 will sneak into your game library on November 11

The Empress and Corvo return to the shadows and you can play as either of them.

If you are like me, you loved Dishonored. The announcement of the sequel was met with giddy anticipation. And now, that anticipation has a November 11 launch date.

Dishonored 2 will let players take the role of empress-protector Corvo Attano or even the Empress Emily Kaldwin herself. Not too much is known about what special abilities or assassin gear will be making a return aside from what we saw in the trailer last year, but Bethesda promises more details during its E3 showcase on June 12 at 7 PM PST. It will be livestreamed on Twitch and YouTube.

GameInformer has a huge cover story coming this Saturday, although digital versions should be available tomorrow. We'll grab any information and keep you posted.

The game is being released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Here's the original reveal trailer.

    I know right? But it's not just snubbing the 360, Dishonored 2, which will release 3 years into the newest console cycle, is also not coming to the PS3, WiiU, original XBox, nor even the Sega Genesis, and between you and me, I hear the Genesis has something they call "Blast Processing."

      Also, I think this video is a cool testament to all the shit you can do in Dishonored. It gave me a whole new level of appreciation for it. When I played it, I barely used any of the powers except Blink because I am lazy and just wanted to sneak around and stab dudes. This video makes it look like a totally different game to me.
