New Xbox 360 data cable allows S-to-S transfers
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 27, 2011 6:30am PDTFifteen months after launching the Xbox 360 Slim model, Microsoft has released a new version of the data transfer cable that'll let you swap your stuff between two Xbox 360 S consoles. Clearly it's been a long and expensive R&D process, as yes, it still costs $15.
Xbox's Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb sends word that you can order the new hard drive cable from Microsoft now.
Of course, if you only have 16GB or less of data on your Xbox 360, you can simply use a USB flash drive to transfer it to another console.
Yep, that's a new cable all right.
