Morning Discussion
by Xav de Matos, Jan 03, 2011 5:00am PST2010 is over. Time to start clearing space on our shelves for the swarm of new titles hitting in 2011. In the first three months alone we're going to be bombarded with quality titles. Then a steady stream of other anticipated games are going to trickle out. In November we have Uncharted 3 landing and my personal "OMGOMGOMG" game of 2011, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, arrives. Then Gears of War 3 and, well, all those games that have yet to be revealed.
This generation makes me happy to be a gamer. You know who else is happy? Credit card companies and loan sharks; the only two options I use when making mass video game purchases. What I'm saying is, I make bad decisions.

Managed to hit 60 last night on my human rogue. Went and bought myself one of them special flying mounts and I must say that flying around Outlands is pretty awesome.
Speaking of which, I'm in agreeance with Magus: Outlands is pretty cool. I finished hitting 58 in Sithilus which was a complete pain in the ass and immediately got out of there after finishing what few quests I had left. All of the new mobs in Outlands are pretty awesome and that giant Power Rangers looking thing (Fel whatever) that walks around is equally awesome.
How is everyone else doing in the wonderful world of Warcraft?

Archeology/First Aid/Inscription all shouldn't exist.
Glyphs are useless. Everyone just uses the same ones, if you are a Prot warrior you use this set. if you are a Fire Mage you use this set. No change or divergence except for the minor glyphs (you want your poly to be a penguin or monkey).
First Aid is also a pretty much useless profession and bandages are so situational they aren't worth being made. Or like me you make a bunch to max the profession then never make any more and have them last the entire expansion.
And honestly Blizzard seemed to actually attempt to work with the other professions in BC and since then each expansion have gotten worse and worse. I mean I am sorry I shouldn't open up the Guild Profession's tab and see 50 people who are JC, then only 4 Blacksmiths, and 2 Scribes. If they were all interesting and done properly there shouldn't be such a disparity.
