Evening Reading
Last night, I played four about four hours straight and only got to play two missions that I hadn't previously played at Blizzard press preview days. Regardless, it was great to finally play through those missions from the comfort of my home, earning achievements, and seeing some of the cutscenes not included during those preview events.
After five months of the beta, I'm definitely going to be finishing the campaign before anything else and then probably making my way through challenge mode. Once those are out of the way, though, it's time for multiplayer!
Quick reminder that we've got 5000 beta keys for Zone 4: Fight District and the demo for Madden NFL 11 has hit on PS3 and Xbox 360.

Finished motherfucking X-men Origins Wolverine finally, one of the most frustrating boss fights I've had to deal with in a long time. ( http://www.shacknews.com/laryn.x?id=23542572 )
I bought a sweet chair and hooked up my PS2 to my old tube TV and and played some Resident Evil 4. RE4 because it was in the drive when I started it up, it immediately sucked me in.
And of course StarCraft 2! -

The Saboteur
It is fucking awesome and I love it to bits and pieces despite its flaws. Just got done with the first race/time trial and I'm debating doing the next. Drove back to the racetrack from the start of the game and couldn't find the aurora there, but i saw all of the other race cars. Didn't feel like driving them all the way back to my garages down south, so I saved the game and called it a night.
Tomorrow I'm going to plow through the story some more until I can blow up those fucking bridges. :D -
Just did a 6 hour session of GTA 4. It's a blast. Nothing like a 7 minute long police chase that involves switching vehicles to get the adrenaline flowing. And, there is something quite satisfying when you are chasing someone in a vehicle and you manage to hit them while they are driving at speed. The sound of the horn is usually enough confirmation that they are slumped on to the wheel, but seeing the car lose velocity and hit something as it comes to a stop is quite awesome too. Then of course, as you speed by you see the driver and the blood-splattered windshield.
Kinda glad this is my first GTA game because all of these little things feel so fresh and exciting. -
