Busy day though, with Rocket Race enthusiasm bringing it into mainstream Halo 3. I wonder how people will react? Probably just like they mistreat Oddball with vetoes. :( Don't they know it's only the best melee weapon? Poor Skulley. Still more stuff to bring together this morning, but I think we'll run a contest in the chatty today too. We have two copies of Gears of War PC, courtesy of Microsoft and Epic. In order to qualify, post your best co-op gaming story in this thread, and we'll post winners tomorrow.

I'm probably picking up a 360 w\HDMI this Friday (I'm tired of waiting for my repair, it's been over 2.5 weeks), but my TV only has one HDMI input and that's being used for cable.

Wow, Gears of War has more testosterone than I can handle. It's like I'm at gym class, or hanging out with this guy my friends worship named Dee who can jab his thumb through an unopened beer can. When Marcus says "SWEET" after picking up some ammo, I picture him diddling a 9 year old girl and saying that. It runs pretty ok on my machine though, I'm pretty surprised about that. The KB+Mouse controls are fairly intuitive too, I'm definitely a lot better at it than I was with the 360 controller. I don't know if I want to play all the way through though knowing the Gears Rap is waiting for me at the end :<

I wonder how they're going to continue the show? seems like the major source of conflict is now through, with Karen bailing on Bill at the last second.
Also, I don't think I"ve been more pissed off at a TV show character than I was with Mia for stealing that manuscript. Holy shit I wanted to kick her fucking little ass off the cliff. I suppose it ended decently with the important people knowing that Hank actually wrote it, but that bitch is going to get to publish it anyways? Fuck her in the ass.

So I have 2 lcds hooked to a nvidia 8600GTS video card. Is there a way to set it up so that everytime the pc boots a browser window automatically starts full screen in each lcd with different websites?

It fucking rocks. My fiancee and I are playing it together and I can't imagine playing it alone now. This morning we found out that there is actually something player 2 can do that is impossible for player 1 to do. I'm sure you know that player 2 can point at the screen to collect star bits and shoot them, but player 2 can also hold down A on a monster to completely immobilize them! It even works on bullet bills; they just get stunned in mid air so Mario can position himself for when player 2 lets go. It's a ton of fun and that first major boss fight was a ton of fun because she was frantically trying to stop all the bullet bills from hitting me while I kept trying to position myself for them to destroy the gate to get to the star. Man this game rocks.
The multiplayer really reminds me of duck hunt where player 2 could control the ducks. I can't think of another game where it was essentially a singleplayer game but player 2 could help out (or hurt in the case of duck hunt) the main player.

I'm looking for some tips while fighting Matriarch Benezia's minions on Noveria. I can make it to the 3rd spawn wave but the snipers eat me and my party alive no matter where I try and hide. I also cannot consistently get passed the Asari Commandos. I am playing a Vanguard. Any tips on what armor/upgrades/biotics to use? Thanks!
