  I had an idea today: How about a simple website that lists all of the Shack servers in one place, and a way to get the password. To get the password to any servers, you simply put in your username. The script checks your post count and if you meet the requirement (100+ posts? posted in the last month? Both? Whatever it is) then you get the password SM'd to you. Server admins could simply tell the site when the password has been changed, and the site could even automatically SM people who previously requested the password with a new one. We could either have one password that all Shack servers use, or each server could have its own (although server admins tend to try to keep them all the same).
  
  If no one is willing to do it, I could do it myself assuming the server admins and players would want to use it. It would solve the problem of lurkers on the server pretty well. Obviously people could just tell their friends the passwords but it at least eliminates the tons of lurkers out there that just have the appropriate secret URLs bookmarked.
