DmC: Devil May Cry's "Vergil's Downfall" downloadable content is coming March 5, Capcom has announced. The DLC lets you play as Dante's twin brother, Vergil, in his own campaign that includes new weapons, combos, enemies, and locations. It also carries its own story, and judging by the title we're guessing things don't turn out so well for Dante's kin.

Capcom never finished its first crack at making Resident Evil 2, getting an early version of the game together but then scrapping it. Parts and ideas did make it into the finished RE2, but the project later dubbed 'Resident Evil 1.5' never saw the light of day. However, industrious fans somehow ended up getting hold of the source code and began fixing it up, and have now released an early version.

Funny places, dungeons. With bags of magic and ancient artifacts strewn around the place, strange things can happen to whatever's living there. The finest product of this peculiar evolutionary environment is monsters which lurk in wooden chests, just waiting for greedy adventurers to stroll past, and a new trailer shows you'll find those in Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. Yes, yes, giants and sirens and leeches and big skellingtons and whatnot too, but chest monsters.

With five million copies shipped so far, Resident Evil 6 is by no means a failure for Capcom. However, it has repeatedly been called a disappointment by the publisher, who expected the game to ship upwards of seven million units. What could account for such a sharp decline from its initially projected sales?
"We are currently analyzing the causes, which involve our internal development operations and sales operations. We have not yet reached a clear conclusion," Capcom told investors.

Capcom has a long history in the industry, and in its heyday was known for its variety of arcade machines. It only makes sense, then, that to celebrate the company's 30th birthday, it's banking on that legacy with the Capcom Arcade Cabinet. The collection of arcade games is set to start releasing later this month, and will include a total of 15 games in all. Two bonus titles available for those who purchase them all.

Look, we really liked DmC: Devil May Cry. But if the only thing holding you back from playing Ninja Theory's reboot is Dante's new look, then perhaps this DLC will make you reconsider.
A new costume pack will be available as DLC for PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 29th. Included in the add-on are three costumes: "Classic," taken from Devil May Cry 3, "Dark," and "Neo." You'll have to shell out $4 (320 Microsoft Points) for this bundle.
