Batman played by Sonic the Hedgehog's voice actor in Arkham Origins

According to developer WB Montreal, Origins will show off a "rawer, scarier Batman." So, of course they got the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog to play Batman this time around. (We're not kidding.)

Batman Arkham Origins preview: rock-steady design

While Origins doesn't reinvent the Batman wheel to the same degree that the first two Arkham games have, it's clear that WB Montreal has the chops to make a game worthy of the name.

How Oldboy inspired Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate for Vita and 3DS

One of the biggest challenges of making a 2D Arkham game is adapting the "FreeFlow" combat system. Game director Mark Pacini says that Blackgate's combat needed to be built "from the ground up," and takes large inspiration from the 2003 Korean movie Oldboy.
