Why is the wording this strong?
Even if it is a grey area, it is way too much for me to be able to use it.
I own my work except in the case that the client owns the work. Can you imagine if Google wanted to use some of my images that were confidential and owned by say the Department of Corrections? Even if they would never act on it, the fact that it exists in their EULA means game over right there.
Privacy concerns are already a massive concern with Google in general, and this kind of thing doesn't help.
"Don't be evil"? "Don't get caught being evil" maybe is closer to the truth.
