ZombiU may be horrifying PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC as 'Zombi'

Ubisoft might be releasing the once Wii U exclusive ZombiU across multiple platforms, calling it simply "Zombi."

The Australian Classification Board has rated an Xbox One game published by Ubisoft called Zombi, leading many to believe the publisher will be bringing the once Nintendo Wii U exclusive to other consoles.

Zombi is rated as an MA15+ title and features “strong horror violence, blood and gore.” Its addition to the board comes just a week after Unseen 64 reported the 2012 Wii U survival-horror game ZombiU was currently in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and “likely” PC and would simply be called Zombi.

Shortly after ZombiU’s release, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said it wouldn’t develop any more exclusives for the Wii U until more people owned the console. It’s surprising to see Ubisoft take this long to develop the same game for current-generation consoles, although when you consider how much ZombiU relied on the Wii U Gamepad for nearly all of its interactions, it could take the publisher some time to fine tune the game for other platforms.
