I just fired up DOOM3 for the first time in a couple of years and it still looks fantastic. Heck, parts look just as good as the new Aliens vs Predator DX11 game. If you add higher poly models to the game it would fit in just as well today. Amazing.

Oh, and we know.... OMG DARK! HOW COULD YOU EVEN SEE THE MODELS.

      Spaeckow isn't wrong, the texture res is a bit on the low side. It doesn't matter if the engine doesn't use streaming and you have to load all textures in at once, they are still lower res than engines that use less RAM but stream the textures in.
