over the past two weeks mikecyb and i have checked out three apartments - we want to move to a new neighborhood and into a quieter building. but couldn't find anything nearly as nice as where we live now. we also had a laundry list of wants (hardwood floors, parking, laundry, need to accept pets, quiet, bigger than what we have now, gas stove, cheaper rent if possible.) anyway, last sunday (two days before we had to renew our lease or give notice) we found a place that checked all of those boxes and then some.
as of next month we will upgrade from an 800 sq ft place to a 1400 sq ft one. i am so excited about having a gas stove i could do something that someone who is super fucking excited about a gas stove would do - buy the best fucking grill pan out there.
is calphalon the cat's meow or is there better? what else do i need to benefit from my non-electric cooking awesomeness?
