Pokemon Black & White Version 2 announced

Remakes and revamps are staples of cutesty collect-o-RPG series Pokémon, so it's no surprise that Nintendo has announced new versions of Pokémon Black and White are on the way. They're named simply Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2.

Next week brings the official launch of the PlayStation Vita, so we're getting a handful of extra Vita games too. We'll also see the release of FPS reboot Syndicate, wacky 'em up Asura's Wrath, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, and more.

We're deep in another lull in new releases, giving us all plenty of time to unwind and play the hoard of games we accrued during the holiday sales. Next week's big release is NFL Blitz for XBLA and PSN, but that's about it.
