Invisible, Inc. adjusting difficulty for procedural generation

Klei's turn-based tactical game recently swapped its Incognita duds for spiffy new Invisible Inc. ones. With that out of the way, the studio recently said that it's working hard on making the procedurally-generated stages have a smoother difficulty curve, even while acknowledging that dying is part of learning the mechanics.

The Screecher injects terror into Don't Starve

Don't Starve is already a harrowing adventure in itself. It focuses on the struggle to survive in a wide-open wilderness, while building a fire to ward off the savage creatures that lurk in the darkness of night. But Klei has injected a little more fear into its survival game, just in time for the Halloween holiday, with a free mod called The Screecher.

Don't Starve: your questions answered

Don't Starve: your questions answered

The abandoned wilderness of Don't Starve is a lonesome place, where few manage to survive. A great number of players have engaged in Klei Entertainment's survival adventure, including a large portion of the Shacknews community.

I reached out to several Shackers who are currently active in the world of Don't Starve and sent their questions off to the folks at Klei. Community Manager Corey Rollins (along with Klei founder, Jamie Cheng) returned with answers.
