Don't Starve: Shipwrecked will set sail this fall

Developer Klei isn't finished with single-player expansions for Don't Starve just yet. There's one more in the works and it's being made in collaboration with the makers of Super Time Force and Below.

While Don't Starve is moving into the realm of adventuring with friends, that's not to say the single-player expansions have completely ended. Apparently, the folks at Klei have one more solo expansion in the works, but they won't be working alone.

Don't Starve: Shipwrecked will be created in conjunction with developer Capy, the studio behind Super Time Force, Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery, and the upcoming Below. The expansion will takes players across the high seas in a new adventure that features new characters, biomes, creatures, and seasonal effects.

Don't Starve: Shipwrecked is estimated for a fall release. For more, check out the video below.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
