GREE expansion brings Yakuza, Resident Evil to iOS & Android

GREE Platform, which is expanding next year as it merges with OpenFeint, has announced a list of publishers on-board with the mobile push. Some of the biggest Japanese publishers are listed, including Capcom, Sega, Square-Enix, and Namco-Bandai. The mobile platform is set to launch in Q2 of 2012, which places it between April and June.

Keiji Inafune reveals new mobile game

Keiji Inafune has revealed his next game, an iOS and Android social game titled The Island of Dr. Momo, reports IGN. If that sounds like a sweeter version of the H.G. Wells classic, The Island of Doctor Moreau, you're pretty much on the right track. It seems that Inafune is dipping his toes into the sim category, with a pinch of playing god.
