Skyrim gets HD texture pack, Portal 2 Space Sphere

Skyrim PC beta patch 1.4 now on Steam

As promised, a beta version of patch 1.4 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is now available through Steam for everyone who fancies trying it. As well as heaps of fixes for bugs and crashes, the patch brings performance and memory optimizations.

Skyrim Creation Kit on-track for January; 1.4 patch almost ready

Bethesda has issued word that Skyrim's Creation Kit is still on track for January, and the game's next major 1.4 update is nearly ready.

Skyrim 1.3.10 PC patch adds support for 4GB of RAM

Bethesda snuck out a small Skyrim PC patch yesterday, updating it to version 1.3.10 with official support for using up to 4GB of memory. If you want Skyrim news with more vim, vip and vigor, new Nvidia beta drivers tease performance boosts of up to 25%.

Skyrim 'Update 1.3' hits Steam, submitted for consoles

Bethesda has released update 1.3 for Skyrim today, featuring fixes for magic resistance problems added with update 1.2 and more. Also, the developer noted Large Address Aware support is coming next week.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim patch next week; Steam Workshop-powered mods in January

Valve's Steam Workshop will support The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim mods after the Creation Kit mod tools are released in January, developer Bethesda announced today. "Continued game updates" are also promised, starting with a small update next week.
