I've been reluctant because I mainly play my Xbox360 for gaming now, but I go back to my PC for some HoN and SC2. SC2 is playable, but with a lot of the settings off. I can crank it up but things get real choppy in high action... which is bad when you play multiplayer. So right now I play SC2 multiplayer with all the settings off. Makes it look terrible...
The game I'm really looking forward to is Diablo 3. If my PC can't even play SC2 with all the settings on, I'd hate to see what it looks like with Diablo 3.

I've gotten into many debates with yakz over this. His philosophy back then was to upgrade every year or 2 years and resell the old stuff back on eBay to recoup some of his money because the hardware, despite being only a year or 2 old, is still in demand. With this update cycle, he is also able to play the latest games without problems.
Of course I've never calculated the costs on both camps. I'm just too lazy to put my crap back up on eBay or some other forums.
I'm running an Athlon 64 X2 4200+. I was going to upgrade last Summer, but realized that I could get away with getting a new video card (Radeon HD 5700) to play Starcraft 2. But even with that new card, my CPU is severely limiting my ability to enjoy SC2.
