Torches 5 = on floor, 1-4 is walls

Doors are neat though, 4 bits for which corner of the block is the hinge, 1 bit to indicate top or bottom, and one bit to indicate if the door is rotated clockwise or counter clockwise currently. That rotation bit is the one that is changed by redstone power, and is the reason why you need an inverter for the one door. With a set of double doors, for them to both be open or closed, one needs to be rotated clockwise while the other is rotated counterclockwise.
I've tried to figure out furnaces by setting their data to different values in the 0 to 5 range, but didn't have any effect, so they may be using higher bits.
