While you're at it, give the randomizer a kick in the ass and make it start spitting out hybrid weapons that do multiple elemental damages or something.

The problem is that just about every game that comes out uses a low FOV, and if you can't change it, then it can become a problem. Far Cry 2, Borderlands, Bad Company 2, and Bioshock are recent examples that are unplayable for me with the default FOV settings. I get sick within 10 minutes, but once I adjust it, those games become much more playable. It's a shame that few developers recognize this as a problem. Most dismiss it as something that only the hardcore users want. However, in my case it's just wanting to play the game without a headache. It should be something that's adjustable like you would with brightness or audio. It's a bit frustrating to try to explain my position over and over, but few developers seem to care.
I don't have an issue playing console games, but that's because I'm 6 feet out. However, with my PC I'm 2 feet away. It's a huge difference, and you can't apply this one size fits all setting to two different environments.
