I'm trying to develop a system. But I've yet to have anything concrete.
I figured signs would be great, but I don't think they stack (so limited inventory), and all that wood is needed when cave diving. (Hard to make them on the go)
I've also tried putting down a 'wall' of torches on the ground to kind of indicate, (That tunnel has been explored and is dead end)
I've also tried using 'tracks' for minecart (Indicates main path back to surface). But after you clear up a bunch of caves, its such a waste of iron, and yes you can go back and reclaim it all, but that is VERY time consuming.
My problem is, I have a massive cave system, come to a few forks in the road, go down a few chutes. come to a couple dead ends, and can't find the tunnels of the forks I left behind way back.
