Map surface is: 204032 square meters
Total world composition, with quantity per surface tile (assuming you mine all the way from the surface down to bedrock):
Coal Ore: 121411 (1 per 1.68)
Iron Ore: 47969 (1 per 4.25)
Redstone: 15407 (1 per 13.2)
Gold Ore: 4780 (1 per 42.7)
Diamond Ore: 1923 (1 per 106.1)
For layer 10 only, where you should go to get the good stuff (gold, diamonds, redstone), with composition percentages if you only mine this one layer:
Coal: 1778 (0.9%, 1 per 115)
Redstone: 990 (0.5%, 1 per 206)
Iron: 738 (0.4%, 1 per 276)
Gold: 145 (0.07%, 1 per 1406)
Diamond: 131 (0.05%, 1 per 1557)
