Well I have to say I have never played Disciples 1 or 2 and was interested in only what I have sceen and read. I have however been a big fan of King Bounty series and Heroes of Might and Magic 5 which this game share some similarities. Of course byt now you know I am a massive ARPG and RPG fan so anything with spells, loot, skills, carnage and killer units and mobs tickles my fancies with ease.
Disciples III features and complete package of what was promised in my past readings had captured me from the very beginning when I saw some early screens, vids and I had relished the thought of playing it.
That days had come on Friday and I have to say the game delivers on so many levels just be warned the hour glass will seem to freeze yet hour and hours will go by when you play this majestic beast. Find out why [In the Reply]

Well where to start, hmm ok if you love Kings Bounty and Heroes of Might and Magic 5 just buy the game and don’t read any more this game is just so grand in this genera it takes everything to the next level.
Upgrade upgrade upgrade, yes what else man tell me... Strategy strategy strategy, and what else just a massive feel of building an empire and taking over land in epic RPG fashion.
Right, so the premise is that you have a city that you build with different buildings that unlock things in the game and your army. For instance build a magic chapel and then you can learn spells. Build another building that set the start of your mage type units on a path to unlock a battle mage. You see once you level up your regular mage units will upgrade in appearance, stats, damage etc according to the buildings you build which is basically like a class progression tree. I freeking love this. It goes so much deeper I cannot explain it all. So basically all the building you build determine the army units you have and progress.
Next you have leaders you recruit like mage, fighter etc. These guys are the uber heroes that you get to fully loot out from drops and purchasing. They are the mini demi gods of your army and level up fully with stats, talents, and of course you have a massive spell book where you unlock spells. The best part is as you take over the world or reposes it from evil (depends on the race you take) you gain more gold you can buy more leaders that will command an army. Very cool stuff hard core in depth rpg stuff here.
There is just so much rpg stuff its great the turn base combat is great, just like Kings bounty or Heroes of Might and Magic 5 but you have more options. I am a massive ARPG and this combat holds me well with no issues its very challenging and rewarding.
The graphics, art, sound score, sound effects, environment, gameplay, rpg upgradability are all top quality very well done.

- Massive talent tree for leaders.
- A lot of tactics in combat like chess in a way standard turn base rpg very well done.
- Three campainges Human Empire, The Elven Alliance and the Legions of Damned
- Just so many awesome rpg stuff.
Dislikes:
- Some times moving my leader on the environments seems sorta weird like I have to double click, no big deal just would like one click.
- To tell you the truth nothing reall only thing I wish which may be too much for most I wish all my units where fully upgradable like my Leadr with statst, skills, and gear aka loot. No a big deal just would be ultimate.
I have a feeling this will be missed by allot and will not be even heard of, it did not even make the Shack release list for this week. I definitely think if you love such a genera you have to own the game its that simple.
If interested you can score the game here I was lucky that I pre ordered it with no region lock you may be lucky or have to wait a bit longer depends http://www.impulsedriven.com/disciples3ren
For those into the genera be ready to lose part of your life the game will consume you its very well done. I am sure you will play the hell out of it just watch your time I have a alarm that tell me to stop playing might be a good idea ?
Happy RPGing \m/ I am dying to play the Legions of Damned next gona be rad.
