My starter ship was the U.S.S. Kotzebue (Small fishing village on Alaska's west coast)
My Nova-class science ship is the U.S.S. Alyeska (word Alaska was derived from, also the name of the company that maintains the pipeline).
My Excalibur-class cruiser is the U.S.S. Soldotna (small fishing village on the Kenai Peninsula)
My Dakota-class heavy cruiser is the U.S.S. Nenana (a river and also a small town)
My Intrepid-class long range science vessel is the U.S.S. Anchorage (the city of Anchorage is self-explanatory)
My Galaxy-class exploration cruiser is the U.S.S. Fairbanks (also self-explanatory)
And finally, my assault cruiser is the Sovereign-class U.S.S. Denali. I named it that because Denali is pretty much the biggest, baddest, and coolest thing in Alaska. I don't like calling it Mt. McKinley because they named it that for political reasons.
