Rotational speed = linear speed / radius
Since everything on the same spinning disc has the same rotational speed, you can see that as you go further from the center (radius increases) the linear speed has to increase.
w1 = w2, hence
v1 / r1 = v2 / r2
Small R = Small V
Big R = Big V
