The mineral spirits in the WD40 is not going to cut the spray paint, but acetone is one of the components of lacquer thinner (which is a grab bag of solvents) and is probably part of what is going to attack the spray paint in this example.
The spray paint from what I'm looking at is probably bound with polyurethane or alkyd resin, and both of those I think will be attacked by acetone. Also, acetone is really nasty shit, your skin is completely transparent to it, so when you get it on you it goes pretty much straight into your bloodstream.
Dunno what is in magic eraser....
