Bethesda Game Studios has a strong pedigree for quality titles. Whether its the Fallout series of something in The Elder Scrolls universe, fans are always eager to know what's coming next. We know about Fallout 4 VR and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch, but Bethesda Game's Director Todd Howard said five more game are in the works.

Some of the projects are in various stages of development, Howard told IGN"We're always doing a lot of things, and once we get good momentum on something, that's what we'll focus on."

With the popularity of Fallout Shelter, which was created during the development of Fallout 4, Howard said that one of the titles is a mobile title, and he has also previous acknowledged The Elder Scrolls 6, although it is "a very long ways off." He also has hinted at "two projects that are bigger than anything we've ever done," and those are likely to be discussed before "the elephant in the room" of ES6.

"We're bigger now and we do want to be putting out more stuff," he told Glixel, perhaps referencing the Bethesda Game Studio division that opened in Montreal in late 2015. "We have two larger projects that are more classically the scale of what we do, but even bigger. We overlap the projects so we're working on them at the same time, but they're staggered," he said. "I can't talk a lot about them, but I can say that they're bigger than anything we've ever done. They're a bit different, but definitely in the wheelhouse that people are used to from us."

Howard will be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame during DICE Summit later this week in Las Vegas.

Why isn't "Bethesda" mentioned anywhere in the title? Anyways, that's pretty cool considering they don't have that many massive franchises.

I didn't use it in the headline as we usually Bethesda for the publisher and we wanted to make it clear that this was the internal dev studio that doesn't include Arkane, id, etc. And Bethesda game Studio is really long, while also game names are better for SEO.

I guess I could have used it in the teaser.

        Does that help?

I hope Fallout 4 VR works out for them and we get TES 6 VR at some point.

After Fallout 4 I'm not buying anything they put out unless everyone raves about it for a solid year.

I'd like to believe I'd have the willpower for that, but I know I'd cave. Even if the story and gameplay still sucks, can't imagine I won't get some enjoyment from exploring a new world from them. At least until the repetitive dungeon syndrome kicks in.

If it wasn't for the massive mod scene behind Bethesda games I don’t think I would have the slightest interest in anything they have to offer... Ever since Morrowind, the community has proven they can take a lumpy turd and produce a quality shiny gemstone of wondrous colours.
