Nintendo of America announced via tweet that new gameplay footage from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be shown during Thursday's The Video Game Awards.

Host Geoff Keighley shared images teasing the video: a rune that resembles the Eye of Truth magnifying glass-type item from Ocarina of Time; and a promotional image done up in Breath of the Wild's font.

While many suggested that Breath of the Wild would be a launch game for the Switch next March, recent rumors indicate that it's been pushed back to the summer. But all's well, because Nintendo might tide fans over with a brand-new Mario game for the Switch at launch.
