Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series suffered a serious black eye after the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, and rightfully so considering how buggy the game was. The publisher announced a new Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, a month prior to the start of E3 and gave us an in-game demonstration as well. At E3 2015, all eyes are on Syndicate to see if it’ll be yet another step in the series’ decline or revitalize it.

The latest footage for Assassin's Creed Syndicate sees new frontman Jacob Frye hitching a ride on a stagecoach, chasing down the undesirables of London. New mechanics, such as a grappling hook blade, were on display, as were some of the assassinations that the series has become known for. The trailer continued with the London populace lending Jacob a hand, as he made his escape. Jacob could also be seen recruiting new members to his Rook syndicate.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
