SOMA prepares for E3 2015 with new trailer

SOMA is preparing to emerge from its nightmare scenario to step into something even scarier: E3 2015. To get everyone ready, Frictional Games has released a new trailer.

It was just a few weeks ago that Frictional Games revealed a full 12 minutes of gameplay for their upcoming sci-fi horror game, SOMA. Now the Amnesia creators have returned with the game's latest trailer, just in time for E3 2015.

All is not well aboard PATHOS-2. With all communication going dark, that leaves the unnamed main character alone to discover just what's happening. He moves forward only to find that machines have come to life, while the world around him devolves into a nightmare.

Look for more information on SOMA to come at next week's E3 2015. In the meantime, check out the new trailer below. SOMA will hit PC and PlayStation 4 on September 22.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

It looks underwater or something? Was this the moon base horror game?

I think a lot of people maybe thought it was on the moon from the first few trailers, but I don't think they ever said explicitly.

Or you might be thinking of "Routine"

I *really* liked the first few live action trailers they put out for this. I hope they still go for that vibe in the game itself, hard to tell from this trailer though.
