Destiny’s second expansion, House of Wolves, will be available on May 19th, Activision and Bungie announced today.

Bungie teased today’s announcement earlier this month as House of Wolves is expected to feature a new Awoken storyline, an exclusive Raid, 3 new Crucible maps, a new Fallen Strike, and hundreds of new weapons, armor, and gear. The story will involve hunting the Fallen Members of the House of Wolves who betrayed the Queen of the Reef.

The House of Wolves DLC is included in the Destiny Expansion Pass, but for those who prefer to purchase their expansion packs a la carte, it’ll be available for $20.

A trailer for today's announcement can be viewed below.

No thanks. We don't need you to do that.

I've been playing Destiny since I got a PS4 a few weeks ago. Not my favorite thing ever, but somewhat entertaining.

I'm amused that the Cabal are such blatant, unsubtle rip-offs of Warhammer 40K Space Marines.

I can kinda see the resemblance, but I think Space Marines are closer.

          - Comically bulky proportions
          - Extremely heavy armor with exaggerated pauldrons, etc.
          - Bolt guns
          - PsychersPsions
          - Jump jets
          - Stylized imperial banners and the like

I like fighting them because they mostly hold still while I shoot them.

It'll be interesting to see if Bungie truly learned from The Dark Below and doesn't just screw everyone over with the new gear.
