Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

MGS Ground Zeroes is that glorified demo, right? The taste of MGSV but really short?

And at 15 bucks, maybe it's time to finally try Dark Souls 2

Aren't they releasing a remastered version of DS2? I would sit on that unless you're dying to play it now.

It looks like a game which will make me throw various components (likely a wired controller and/or mouse) directly at my monitor, which will break both the controller, possibly a USB connector and the monitor itself. But for 15 bucks, if I ragequit, at least I'm not out a monitor, gamepad, USB port *and* 60 bucks.

I wouldn't recommend it, since there will be a new version in April that includes, among other things, improved graphics(with DX11 instead of DX9) and 6 players instead of whatever it was before. People who bought the old version won't be getting those 2 parts of the upgrade, and characters won't transfer either.

well, it's the gold edition, and no more discs to worry about.... for $5, it's well worth it.
I installed it, but am having some trouble with multiple monitors right now. Looks awesome otherwise.

I will probably cave and buy that Sniper game before the day is done because I'm a sucker for shooting people in the head from a distance. Plus, killing Zee Germans.
