Costume Quest 2 video demonstrates pre-order costumes

Double Fine is promising classic costumes for anyone that pre-orders Costume Quest 2. If that isn't enough, perhaps a demonstration is in order.

Double Fine is ready to go trick-or-treating again with next week's Costume Quest 2. With the original still fresh in people's minds, Double Fine is looking to remind fans about the game's classic costumes, fully restored for the new adventure.

If the mere mention of them isn't enough to entice your sweet tooth, Double Fine is offering a new trailer as a demonstration. The Robot, Unicorn, Eyeball, and Pumpkin will all feature their distinct signature moves, just as they did the first time around. So you'll be able to blast enemies as the Robot or squirt some tears as the Eyeball.

Costume Quest 2 arrives next week on PC, with pre-orders open now on Steam. Console release dates have not yet been revealed.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?

Oh, man, I want the old costumes, but is there going to be any linking with old saves or anything on consoles? Because I think I'd like that more.

Sounds like you have a quick playthrough of the original on Steam in your future! That solves all of your problems!
