Spies vs. Mercs trailer for Splinter Cell Blacklist released
by John Keefer, May 02, 2013 9:25am PDTThe promised trailer confirming Spies vs. Mercs mode for Splinter Cell Blacklist has been released, showing off 4v4 gameplay, a first for the mode.
The video (via IGN) shows spies hacking data and mercs trying to protect the data from getting into the wrong hands. The Spies will rely on their stealth and ability to strike from the shadows, while the mercs will be heavily armored and with flashlights. Each side will also have an array of useful gadgets at their disposal.
The mode was 2v2 in previous Splinter Cell games, such as Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, and Double Agent, but was missing entirely from Conviction.
The game is set to release August 20 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U.
