Legend of Grimrock to get a sequel
by John Keefer, Feb 21, 2013 4:15pm PSTIndie developer Almost Human did incredibly well with its first title, old-school dungeon crawler Legend of Grimrock, when it launched earlier this year. Now, the company has decided to skip the traditional DLC route and give the game a sequel.
The company had teased a new project on the official blog, but had been a bit nebulous on what it would be. "Internally we have talked about the project being a DLC for Grimrock. But creating a DLC for Grimrock doesn’t really ring true to us," it said in an updated post today. "A DLC would have limited too much what we can do. With a full blown sequel we can raise Grimrock to the next level."
The company offered no details on what the sequel will entail, but has promised more regular updates as the development of the game gets further along.
